In addition to our literary agency work, we also provide editorial services to authors and publishers, and package anthologies and other book projects.

 

 

A major, long term project has been The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling (1st through 16th annual) and Ellen Datlow and Kelly Link & Gavin J. Grant (17th through 21st annual). This massive, authoritative anthology series was published by St. Martin's Press, from 1988-2008. A collection of each year's most outstanding fantasy and horror short fiction and poetry, they feature works by a Who's Who of fantastic literature, including Pulitzer Prize-winners, National Book Award winners, and other celebrated authors. Those whose works have been reprinted in these anthologies include Sherman Alexie, Isabel Allende, A.S. Byatt, Angela Carter, Charles de Lint, Junot Diaz, Louise Erdrich, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Ursula K. Le Guin, Tanith Lee, Gabriel García Márquez, George R.R. Martin, Haruki Murakami, William F. Nolan, Joyce Carol Oates, George Saunders, Lucius Shepard, Peter Straub, and Jane Yolen, among many, many others. The series has won three World Fantasy Awards and has been nominated for others; stories in the collections have won Hugo Awards, World Fantasy Awards, Nebula Awards, and Locus Awards.
