Fantasy author of A Ballad of Echoes
Ethan Blevins's novel A Ballad of Echoes, the first novel of his epic fantasy trilogy "Heirs of Eventide," began as an escape from studying for the bar exam in 2014. He passed the bar, and is a staff attorney for a legal non-profit in Salt Lake City. He grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with two author parents, and while in elementary school, discovered Tolkien, which inspired a love of fantasy. In addition to his full-length work, he has also written short SF and fantasy. When not busy with his writing or his his legal work, Ethan is often busy chasing four young children at home.

Karen Brooks is a newspaper columnist and the author of eleven books, including works of historical fiction, historical fantasy, and nonfiction. Her historical novels The Locksmith's Daughter (2018) and The Chocolate Maker's Wife (2019) have been published by William Morrow, which will continue to publish her historicals, next with The Lady Brewer of London (tentatively scheduled for October 2020).
